Domain-level protection
The Domain Name System (DNS) is a service that translates IP addresses to domain names and vice versa. A domain name identifies a particular network service or application, such as YouTube or WhatsApp. This identification is useful for traffic filtering and gives you access control over all sites and applications, enabling you to automatically restrict unwanted user behavior and block malicious domains.
There are three new supplementary features that enable the domain-level protection:
  • DNS protection - Automated blocking of undesired and risky domains based on blacklists provided by GoodAccess.
  • Custom DNS records - Set up custom private DNS records to use as identification for your internal IT systems.
  • Custom DNS filtering - Use custom blacklists to block undesired domains.
